The Agent Achievement Awards has celebrated excellence in the travel trade for the past quarter of a century and is regarded as the highest honour in the industry for both individual agents and agencies.
After being postponed in 2020, the 2021 edition will be streamlined to reflect demands on agency resources, with a focus on supplier-voted categories and a small number of individual awards for nominated agents who have excelled not just professionally, but in support of partners, colleagues, customers and their communities.
The glittering AAA ceremony will take place in association with Virgin Atlantic in line with all relevant government guidelines at London’s Park Plaza Westminster hotel on Thursday, September 16.
Winning an Agent Achievement Award is the pinnacle of success in the travel trade. After postponing last year’s event we felt it was right to celebrate the travel trade as it emerges from the most difficult period in its history, and we look forward to doing that on September 16 with this year’s streamlined edition.
We are delighted to partner with Travel Weekly on these prestigious awards and are looking forward to September 16 when the amazing work done by so many agents throughout the past year will be recognised and celebrated.
The health and safety of our guests is paramount and the Travel Weekly Events team is closely monitoring government guidance and industry best practice to ensure that all necessary safety measures and precautions will be in place for the Agent Achievement Awards should they be required.
Progress with the vaccination roll-out and the government’s roadmap towards the full easing of restrictions gives us confidence that a number of current measures will not be required. However, please rest assured that a full Covid-19 policy will be in place to reflect the latest guidance and ensure our guests, partners and staff can enjoy a memorable and safe event.
